Hospice Care Plus & Compassionate Care Center
Hospice Care Plus's Compassionate Care Center provides around-the-clock medical and nursing care for hospice patients who need short-term inpatient care. The Center can accept patients being cared for at home by a hospice organization or patients who are being discharged to hospice care from a hospital setting. The Center can provide inpatient care to control pain or symptoms. It can also provide respite care. Care at the Center is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. Hospice Care Plus & Compassionate Care Center
Hospice Care Plus provides home hospice care for those with a serious illness who are no longer pursuing aggressive/curative treatments and who have a strong desire to live at home and enjoy better quality of life. Care is provided at no cost to patients and families. Home hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance. Hospice Care Plus does not collect co-pays or require that deductibles be met. Services are also provided to those with no insurance. Services include 24/7 access to nursing support. Nurses visit weekly or more as needed. Nursing assistants for personal care and light housekeeping are scheduled based on need. Visits from social workers and chaplains are also available. Care is provided in conjunction with patients' existing physicians. Hospice Care Plus can also provide a physician to manage care, if the patient desires.
